At least: your business name and contact details, the customer's name, an invoice number, the date, what you sold with quantities and prices, the total, and how to pay. If you are registered for VAT, or your customer needs to claim the expense, KRA expects an eTIMS invoice: issue that with KRA's free eTIMS tools. This generator makes a commercial invoice, not an eTIMS invoice.
From 2026 iTax checks expenses against eTIMS invoices, so a customer who files income tax may ask you for an eTIMS invoice too. Use KRA's free eTIMS tools for that; you can still send this invoice as your bill.
